This little car building set is pretty fun. It isn't compatible size wise with other magnet blocks (that I know of), but its magnetic, so it will work with other magnetic things, just not be a perfect size match. You can get creative with the wheels and space them out or keep them at a standard distance. Great for kids to learn through play about motion and magnets. The magnet blocks feel durable and such withstand lots of play. Lots of opportunities for creativity and learning.

This is a neat toy that I think any boy would enjoy. It’s fun because it’s magnetic instead of your normal building blocks. And then you get to play with your creation. It comes with a book to help you build your cars. Anyone who likes cars will have fun building the cars and then playing with them after!
I loved the concept of magnetic blocks that can be used to build a variety of car vehicles so I figured I'd give this 45-piece CUBLO Car Maker set a try. The first thing I noticed was the ultra-satisfying click that the blocks made when they attach to each other. It almost seems like they have moving parts inside to help facilitate that action. Maybe it has something to do with them not having a repelling side - but it makes the blocks seem more magic than normal which is nice. The thing I didn't like is that the magnetic attachment strength is very weak - so weak that most pieces cannot even bear their own weight with some movement and pieces will fall off unwantedly far too easily during routine building. If your new car that you constructed rolls into a wall, kiss it all goodbye! Advertised as a building toy which is supposed to make cars, you'd figure it should be strong enough to build something and play with it to a reasonable degree but I think the set theming was an afterthought. Even the "chassis" piece seems a bit cheap as a solid piece that limits your options on where you get to place the wheels. And speaking of limits, I feel like this set should have come with more pieces, especially for the price - this might not be a good value for money considering the other magnetic block toy choices out there can have 100+ pieces and are cheaper than this $50 set. Some of the non square parts only come in one of each color which makes building something color-symmetrical difficult or impossible if you use them. Despite my criticisms, I've seen a child play with this and they really liked it, probably due to the fun clicking sound and feel the blocks make when they do stick together. Hopefully that will be enough to offset the potential frustration of having what they "build" constantly fall apart. That being said, building for intentional demolition can be fun too! Potentially recommendable, but see what your intentions for this would be, before you decide to purchase!

I love this Cublo car maker set. It is a safe and fun toy for little kids. It is a combination of cube and logic. The kids can create cars in a very simple way using their logic and imagination.Very easy to built and put the pieces together with the magnetic system. The kids can spend hours making their pieces of art using the vibrant color pieces.
This is a nice little kit for kids who like to create and manipulate. The magnets are strong enough to hold. The wheels hold the car up and building with blocks is just downright fun. This is great for developing problem solving skills and understanding how to manipulate objects. It is packaged nicely for gift giving and should last through a few kids.
This is a great set of magnetic shapes along with a pair of axles with wheels to build cars. These vibrantly colored pieces feature three different shapes in seven vivid colors, along with a 15 page playbook with instructions to build different vehicles. Of course, an original design can also be built. This set uses manual dexterity along with cognitive thinking and creativity to design vehicles. The write up claimed this set was for ages 3+, but the box states 4+. The blocks are small with 45 pieces in all. A younger child will find this set enjoyable, and will be happy with the number of parts. This is a quality set with strong and durable components that can be used to build an endless number of creations on wheels.

I got this set for my son who is obsessed with vehicles, and it’s been a great addition to our building toy collection. It’s a fun twist on standard magnetic blocks because of the specific focus on building cars. What I Liked:The Wheels: The wheel blocks are the highlight. They roll smoothly, and my son loves that he can actually "drive" what he builds, rather than just looking at a static structure.Ease of Use: The magnets connect easily and intuitively. It’s great for younger kids (3+) because they don't need a lot of force to snap pieces together or pull them apart.Educational: It’s great for teaching shapes and basic engineering. Watching them figure out how to balance the car so it rolls is a nice little STEM lesson. One Thing to Note: Because these are held together by magnets, the cars are not indestructible. If your child tries to "race" them into a wall or push them too hard, the car will crumble/break apart. It’s definitely more of a building toy than a rough-and-tumble racing toy. Also, as with most sets like this, you might eventually want to buy a second set to get enough pieces for bigger, more complex vehicles.Verdict: A solid, engaging toy that keeps kids busy. If your child likes building and cars, this is a win.

These were super cute for a Christmas gift for my 3 year old. It’s not a super huge kit but he loves making the car with it! My only real complaint is the magnets are not very strong. When you make the car and give it a push, the wheels like to fall off. It’s still fun for the kids and they love all the bright color blocks to add to their magnet collection

The CUBLO Magic Cube Car Maker is a fantastic toy for kids who love building and creating. The magnetic cube blocks, including square, triangular, semicircular, panel, and wheel pieces, make it easy to construct fun car designs. It encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, keeping children engaged for hours. Durable, well-made, and perfect for both play and educational purposes—highly recommend!
This seems to be a pretty pricey item at nearly $50 so I am torn is this is a good value or not. I think it's an OK to fair value, not a great value. The magnets are pretty strong and hold adequately for the building options this does. I got to use in my Sunday school class for the age range of 5 to 9 to 10 year olds and they really like it and it seems appropriate to them. There are a lot of colors and looks a lot like what is in the picture. There are a lot of options when going to build. These are about right if anything maybe a little smaller than expected. The quality of the items is pretty good. They seem pretty durable too and I am guessing these will probably last quite awhile. These are pretty good and work for a large range of kids. Since they are a bit small, especially with the magnet keep an eye on those who like to put things in their mouths.
